My research projects involve dendrimer encapsulated noble metal nanoparticles using PEI. However, imaging the NPs using the SEM is a bit difficult due to the presence of the dendrimer. Is there a particular method that anyone recommends for removal of a dendrimer, either chemically or mechanically (centrifugation)? Would an ultracentrifuge work superiorly to a regular centrifuge?
Many thanks and best regards!
