i suggestion sol gel which you can produce the fine particle and you control the experimental condition. you acn read more about the sol gel method i think you will get that you need to start your experiment then get the target oxide
I suggest sol gel chemistry as the previous response . It is the best way for a perfect stochiometric control of final product. You can obtain a catalyst with an high specific surface area and absence of co-precipatate. I suggest this old paper Bioactive Ceramics in the CaO-AI203-P2O5-ZnO System Prepared by the Sol-Gel Technology. You can prepare your material in the same way without P2O5
Efficient catalysts can be prepared by impregnation of alumina with Ca and Znsalts and further calcination, if low percentages of calcium and zinc are used. See for example
