I am performing CFD analysis for intracranial aneurysms. I have an array having x,y,z coordinates of the cell centers on the blood vessel surface and corresponding Oscillatory Shear Index data. I want to make a contour plot of OSI over the surface. I have tried MATLAB but it gets slowed down owing to large number of data points. What are the other alternatives for this?

I do such a task in ORIGINPRO software. the results are satisfactory.
If you try to see the contour slice-by-slice using 'contour','contourc' or 'contourf' function, it takes lesser time compared to contour3. And if you are ok with surface plots, you can use 'isosurface()' function instead.
