Hello, I am a secondary teacher, I have a big problem after teaching online such as my student's low engagement, they not respect teacher, not a responsibility the homework and task, and not answer the question by online teaching.

For that reason only I have posted this question so that experts in this area will share their experiences.

There is more than one way to conduct an examination during the Covid 19 period, but the best one is to create more than one examination form and send it to students to answer.

Tests of factual information will need some sort of online test or supervised test. Essay tests looking for higher-order thinking skills can be turned in via email, if no other method is available. Try to ask unique questions that cannot be answered by Googling.

I took more than 25 online learning from reputable universities. Here are my suggestions.

First, you need to have a platform, I recommend to use Schoology.

Second, make sure the student can only have 1 attempt.

Third, open your exam 5 minutes before Examination.

Fourth, please be strict with time.

Fifth, ask to write a declaration if they are doing Examination with honesty.

Hi! I think certain changes in the question paper can help to conduct examinations online. such as, open ended questions related to real life case studies , time constraint questions etc. students need to feel that the quality of the examination is still maintained even if it is conducted online. The test is most often done by taking samples (swabs) from the patient's throat or from his nose. The Robert Koch Institute recommends, when the suspected case, samples not only from the upper respiratory tract, but also from deep respiratory passages such as bronchial or lung secretions.

You could delay examinations to the beginning of the next academic year. Otherwise, you can conduct online exam. Usually, these examinations are programmed. The distribution of the sequence of questions varies between candidates; one question only per screen, candidates cannot return to an item after submission. The timer will stop with an automatic submission when the exam comes to an end. These measures make it difficult for students to cheat. Also, computer cameras are all on, and invigilators can randomly watch candidates during the examination

To Samy Azer : I believe I understood quite well your answer. One more detail is still unknown for me: Students can cheat with using TeamViewer program. For example, someone else can see students' monitor, and manipulate with his keyboard and mouse, and at the same time student can act that he/she is using his mouse... Do you have some advice for this issue?

Where is the guaranty that student only answering such test, any outside people can be involved in helping. Unless you use LMS with access limitations, even then outsiders help could be taken therefore, I feel it is not a fool proof method. You can correct me if I am wrong???

It seems that online evaluation, as already pointed out, remains the best approach. This assessment should be flexible enough to allow learners as much creativity as possible.

You can conduct online exam. Usually, these examinations are delivered through online programs. However, you need to pilot this before going into online examinations. Technical problems are challenging

We all know Open Book exam is the best but setting of question paper is quite tough and takes time. Passing Open Book exam is also difficult unless the students are clear with the subject they cannot give reply to the questions. I am looking for technological alternates to simplify the exam process.

You find yourself using a lot of essays or short answer questions. Everything is open book at that point because there is really no effective way to monitor the student.

Open book text as we do for the revision exam through google classroom will be better because of the monitoring issues.For the students who cannot access through online alone may be permitted directly to appear for the exam which will be minimal in numbers for whom the exams may be organized by maintaining the social distancing.

I think open book examinations vs online proctor examinations depends on the availability of video proctor options, as there are many sites and companies offering video proctors but they are sometimes limited to location and language as the proctor must be able to identify cheating.

I have seen both open book and video proctor and I have found that open book but with a modified question base is most efficient as the questions are based on understanding and application rather than memorization, as questions relying on memory are more often the questions students look up or google, therefore not showing their understanding but more so their ability to search for specific knowledge either within notes, textbooks or over google search.

For next academic year, more likely there will be a mix of online-only and hybrid teaching methods.

The hybrid approach includes both online and face-to face to different ratios for the delivery of contents.

However, if things get really bad because of Covid-19 health crisis, then faculty and students can switch completely to the online-only method of delivery.
