In our laboratory, we have no experience in the determination of the viability of viruses on the surface of the thick cotton impregnated by nanosilver. We produce such kind of active filter, which shows the extraordinary high efficiency of bacteria-killing. I would very pleased if any laboratory can help me to make such kind of experiment. I am ready to send our specimens for making such kind or other suggested experiments if any of you find the interest to contribute to this topic.

Assessment of SARS-CoV-2 Isolation, Viability, and Infectivity
Viability and infectivity of SARS-CoV-2 can be done by inoculation on cell lines, e.g. Vero/hSLAM or Vero/E6 cells, with material from the nasopharyngeal swab of the patients to isolate SARS-CoV-2 virus in culture. Virus isolation success depends on viral load. Samples containing < 106 copies/mL (or copies per sample) never yielded an isolate (1-2).
