I'm using a starch-casein broth , but in some caseies the starch still in the bottom of the flask.. so, I'm looking for a liquid media that used to growing soil actinomycetes for extract secondary metabolites.
If the Strain belongs to the genus Streptomyces, you can use Modified Nutrient Glucose (MNG) broth medium, which gives excellent results in secondary metabolites extraction with the optimal growth conditions.
First, put starch in beaker, mix 5 ml water into paste, pour 95 ml water, mix well and add other drugs to dissolve it. Make a mark outside the beaker, add agar when heated to boil, stirring constantly, until agar is completely dissolved, make up for water loss. Adjust the pH value to 7.2-7.4, sterilize after packing.

You are conducting a research, so play around with media types and compositions and come up with something most suitable for your work.
