you can try two possible procedures : 

1- remove lipids and fats using hexane extraction then centrifuge, then remove hexane layer drying for the ppt , and then comlete your analysis.

2- may be freez drying is good for your sample at high vaccum.

if the fat content is very high not convenient defatting with hexane?

Try  grinding a frozen sample. Low amounts at high speed
