In my lab we want to establish a cell line for expression of antibodies.
We have the vectors, we have the technician with experience with cell line that can take care of it, I am just looking for a good "kit" to start with, and with your opinion about using either HEK293T or CHO.

From what I have experienced, choosing between the HEK and the CHO families is a case by case thing.
For instance, for antibodies, you may have a special need for a specific glycosyation pattern, say alpha-2,6 syalylation, in which case the HEK family may prove better.
I used the vectors from InVivogen and produced my mAbs in different cell lines like HEK293T and CHO cells. The choice of the cell line had a great influence for the glycosylation pattern of the heavy chain.
