Hamed - as it is this would be a very tricky question to offer a specific response to. The topic of public life could cover almost anything. What would be 'best' would be the approach that best addresses your 'specific' topic and the type of methodology you might want to adopt. Also - until you have conducted a critical systematic review on said topic - you wouldn't know what the knowledge gap was - so nor the 'best' methodology.
