As mentioned Dr. Miqdam, the angle depends on the system design (both the collector diameter and most important its height). Also, it depends on the location where the system will be used in (latitude) and the season (summer, winter...etc). So, there is no only one angle matches all the above-mentioned factors. Therefore, the solar chimney systems, it is essential to design a solar tracking system to obtain the best system performance at different variables.

Dear Khalil.. The direction and tilt angle for a solar collector is highly dependent on the Geographic location. The northern hemisphere countries are different from the southern hemisphere. I am sure you will get some details about the direction and tilt angle in most standard Tables. For my country, Iraq, The direction is south and the tilt angle is about 30 o. People in Argentina may direct the panel differently with entirely different tilt angle... Regards
