What is the b best optical modality for cell autofluorescence imaging?

I work on melanoma cell line, and would like to detect autofluorescence of melanin in MELANOMA cells. In many literature it has been approved and indicated that melanin is an endogenous chromorphors , by excitation near UV-blue, emit autoflourescence.

I would like to know if confocal fluorescence is an appropriate modality to map and image the signals of autofluorescence.

Furthermore, I need some guide if anybody in Iran knows an optimized fluorescence set-up in and department in Tehran, for imaging even the weak fluorescence samples?
