in-vitro bioassay are expensive. During Drug discovery, after virtual screening, compounds from Zinc database, how can be confidently assay our compounds knowing that it's concerned activity has not been already published?

There are in vitro bioassays for innumerable compounds, including for natural products. You can search your compound using PUBMED/MedicinePlus, which will pull all articles for a compound. You may also use Agricola and www.science.gov.
