Since you introduce Oxygen into the system you will most likly increase the ORP.

If you google redox potential and wastewater, you will find some links to sites describing the different degradation processes that can occur at different ORP/Redox values.
The applications I've seen ORP used is typically where there is an oxidant added to the water (hypochlorite, ozone, ferrate, permanganate, etc.) for treatment. ORP is an extremely difficult thing to measure accurately (especially in dirty wastewater) but relative changes can be useful. The applications where it is most useful are when you know the ORP before the oxidant is added then you can add oxidant (ozone) until you observe the ORP begin to change significantly - this is the point when there isn't anything left in the water to oxidize (giving you the maximum dose for use). Usually plotting ORP vs. added oxidant looks like a buffer curve (pH vs. added acid or base). It doesn't have to correlate with pH but will tell you at what point you're getting the maximum benefit from the oxidation treatment chemical. Hope that helps.
In relation to the use of ORP with ozonation one need to consider that dissolved ozone destroys an ORP sensor. Ozone creates an oxide layer on the titan surface which causes the sensor output to change drastically. Therefore the ozone sensor has to be placed in the water treatment system so contact with water containing is avoided. Generally downstream in the treatment train there the ozone is completely consumed.
Ozonating water changes ORP of the water drastically so the sensor is very good at following the reaction of ozone in water. An ORP sensor is cheap so it is a preferred method to control ozonation reactions.
If the ORP is placed downstream in the water treatment system the high ORP measured can be explained by that the reducing chemicals have disappeared as the dominating oxidant will be oxygen as it likely also was before the ozonation.
