In a majority of urinary tract infection (UTI) subjects , E.coli is responsible for infection which detected in laboratory accompanied with antibiotics test. Micro-organism in some individuals, specially in women is not sensitive to traditional agents such as fluoroquinolons and other traditional oral drugs. Nitrofurantoin is effective in many cases, but is not well tolerated in a few percent of subjects (particularly in children) because of GI upset and vomiting. What is the alternative drugs for this patients?
