What is the difference between a Real & Reactive power control of an inverter and a VSG control of an inverter. How do you think a vsg control is better than a simple P&Q control of an inverter in which P &Q is regulated and the output is chosen as voltage and current references and inertia is not accounted. Since the real power setting can keep the frequency regulation of the inverter intact just as vsg.

If you want to test both systems, what criteria would you set to compare the performances of both.
