If I have a reinforced concrete slab with a thickness 1000 mm, containing openings 1.0x2.0m, 0.8x1.2m and 1.0x1.5m, what is the additional reinforcement to be added around the openings and its details, also would it need a beam around it or not? With reference to standard or code if possible, thanks in advance.
At least that to be cut because of opening should be added to the sides. If the opening is very large peripheral beams should be added around the opening. However, this may be as a subject for researches.
