I'm working on a simulation study which I need to firstly conduct a grid independence or sensitivity analysis or convergence test in order to select an optimum mesh number. I understand that we need to reduce the mesh size until the computational result obtained is similar or in the acceptable range with the previous result. But could anyone give a clear definition of what is the 'acceptable range' means? Some say less than 10% difference should be okay, while some say 5%. I didn't found any references on this. Could anyone please help in this matter?
Thanks
