Layer thickness and saturation level (binder/ volume ratio) parameter appeared mostly on all journals that I've read. However, I am not sure what is saturation level is all about. Anyone can explain? Any reference that I can read about this parameter
The layer thickness is a parameter which indicates the accuracy of the printing an saturation level:after printing model don´t have high strength( if U use for example printer which print model from the powder) U must usu finaling model ic cianoacrilate or molten wax. It´s a property as able to soak up the fluid model
This is not difficult for paper-based 3D printing for higher saturation level of surface of 3D objects
Usually people say "binder/volume ratio of ## (shell) and ## (core)". I don't understand what is the difference between shell ratio and core ratio. Would anyone be able to help?
Just got the Z printer user manuel. As the printer prints the core and the shell of the part with different saturation level, so it use different saturation levels in one part. But I still don't understand the meaning of binder/volume ratio and its relation to saturation level.
For example, people say "binder/volume ratio of 0.30 equal for the core and the shell of the structure, which is consistent with a saturation level of 230% for the core and 690% for the shell" in Direct 3D powder printing of biphasic calcium phosphate scaffolds for substitution of complex bone defects, which confuses me.
