What is probability of down conversion of photon in SPDC process?

I want to know what are the chances or probability of getting a photon down converted into two photons in parametric down conversion process?

Therefore, for producing entangled pairs of photons from down-conversion we need extremely high initial beams (usually, ultra-violet beams).
