Does anyone know what is precipitated in carbonate buffer solution stored in typical amber glass bottle (picture is an attachment)?

The carbonate buffer in the bottle is Na2CO3/NaHCO3, pH=10.0 and it was stored about 3 months. However, I don't know exactly when crystals were formed. What is more, the similar crystals were formed after about two weeks in diluted piperazine solution (about 3%). I used the same type of the bottle.

I guess that basic pH is responsible for this reaction. Are these crystals silica (SiO2)?

Regards

Tom
