Nanocomposite materials are composites made from particles or fibers with nanometer-scale size and are generally engineered by combining two or more distinct materials. These composite materials combine the properties of the individual components to create materials with different, and potentially improved, characteristics and performance.
The size of each constituent material should be in the range of 1 to 100 nanometers.
When combining metal and graphene oxide into a nanocomposite material and the size of the graphene oxide particles should be between 1 to 100 nanometers.
The nanocomposite is composed of a matrix and nanoparticles mixed together and cured. The nano particles are 1-100nm. The particles can be of one form or of more than 1 form. So, metal and graphene can be both mixed in the matrix. The most important property should be a uniform mixing with no agglomeration. Having agglomerates will change the nanocomposite into a microcomposite.
Nanocomposite material is a composite material that consists of at least one of its components at the nanoscale based in polymers ,metals ,etc. and the best size that gives the composites enhanced required properties due to the application
