Dear Selvam, though there are various definitions about what moral is, I will connect the moral with the individuals. Everyone has different opinion on what the moral is, thus according to this perception.For example, if someone says moral represents not harming others, still everyone has done some wrong things, and then you question the morality of the person etc. If you say moral = human, again you are faced with the question what a humanity means and again various people think differently.

Well Selvam, for me morality is guided by what my parents taught me to respect everyone and be truthful . I deliver what I was given and unfortunately being a teacher for long I seems it now takes the form of existentialism...

In my opinion it is an internal judgement since the only judge for the person is his own conscience

What is moral responsibility?

Moral responsibility is the requirement or expectation to do good or do things which are ethical or acceptable to a group / community of people. Group / community of people might include e.g. doctors, lawyers, engineers, NGO, aid & charity organizations, different countries' people / culture etc.

Is moral responsibility important for an individual?

Yes it is because everyone within the community doesn't want to be morally violated or their basic rights / entitlement is safeguarded. However, moral responsibility can be different from one community to another and sometimes different people might subscribe different moral philosophy e.g. Kantianism, Utilitarianism etc. which prompt them to behave differently.

What do moral responsibility mean in family, work place and society?

Can be very different according to those people's unique roles in a particular community e.g. family, workplace, society, country etc. But the basic concept is the same as per the above definition.

Moral responsability, I think, it is realized in a tribunal of mercy in this life (for example in the sacrament of the confession for a Catholic person) or in a tribunal of justice (for example in the final judge directly by God). I completely agree with you that moral responsibility is related to moral obligation. In a way, it provides a kind of justification (or reasoning) to perform that act. At the same stature, it also depicts the role of a moral agent who performs that action.
