What is mean by planar perovskite solar cells, inverted perovskite solar cells and their design?
The planar structure can be divided into regular (n-i-p) and inverted (p-i-n)

Milad brought an expressive figure for the different perovskite solar cell structures and their designations. There is planar and porous ETL structure where in the porous structure the ETL layer is composed of thin ETL followed by the porous ETL layer which acts as a scaffold for the perovskite material.In the planar structure the ETL layer is planar containing no pores. The regular structure has the ETL contacting the TCO while in the inverted structure the HTL contacts the TCO as demonstrated by the figure.
