How to use Galilean transformation in deriving shock wave or Mach wave

A Galilean transformation is simply a non-relativistic transformation of time and space coordinates between two frames of reference,, as opposed to a Lorentzian transformation which includes the effects of relativity.

However, for shock waves, provided velocities are less than 10% the speed of light, Galilean transformations are probably fine.
