The defects in crystals determine their electronic properties, which is very important for various applications. Optimization of those properties need information on the defect nature, their type and energy. Therefore, it is desirable to have an effective and fairly simple way to obtain these parameters.

I would like to propose the effective method regarding the measurements of energies of band gap as well as intrinsic defects and impurity centers in various optical materials. Maybe you know some other methods?
