I have 3 peaks inside the G band of GO, and I have found 3 out of 2 peak are G band, D' band. which is completely overlapping with G band. what is the possible reason for getting another peaks.
The peaks position are
1. 1574 cm-1
2. 1605 cm-1
3.1643 cm-1.
please let know the answer.

The Raman spectra for graphene can be impacted by various factors including the number of layers, laser excitation, etc. The primary Raman spectrum include a first order mode G (1580 cm-1) & and a second-order mode 2D (2690 cm-1). Both D and 2D peak positions can shift with the laser excitation energy. The increase of layers leads to introduction of additional Raman bands due to forces from the interactions between layers of AB-stacked graphene. This may show up as a splitting of the 2D peak into additional modes, plus a red shift for the G peak. The ratio of peak intensities, I2D/IG, can suggest the number of layers for a sample combined with the position and shape of these peaks. Additional peaks can be seen due to coupling of various modes such as D+G, D+D’, which will appear at higher energy regions (approaching or around 3000 cm-1), etc.
