some researcher are confusing in methods of sampling with method of data collection I know the difference but still kindly share yours views.

Method of sampling refers to the technique of drawing a sampling from your target population. The most prefered one is probability sampling methods like simple random sampling, systematic random sampling, cluster-based random sampling, etc. while the method of data collection includes the sources and way of data collection. The sources include whether you are using primary source or secondary source and the way include whether you are using survey/ interview/questionnaire technique/direct observation or you are just using collected data.
Sampling is a method that allows researchers to infer information about population based on results from a subset of the population, without having to investigate each individual. Data cannot be collected until the sample size and sample frequency are determined.
Thank-you I hope we can say like this sampling method is a theoretical blue of the samples to be draw from the population and method of data is a partical approach to be taken to achieve those goals which on based researcher and research requirement.
