Curcumin is soluble in organic solvent. What solvent has higher yield?
I do not know the best solvent of curcumin extraction. However, I was an internal examiner to M.Sc. student & she used DCM (dichloromethane) as a solvent obtaining very good yield for curcumin extraction.
DCM should work, I used methanol

The best solvent for curcumin extraction is DCM. However, the solvent very toxic. Acetone and ethyl acetate are good alternatives
DMSO is also the best
