I'm looking for an easy and verstile method to synthesize Si nanoparticles ranging from 20 to 50 nm. Has anyone worked on ever?would you disclose materials and experimental procedure?
The silica particles can be obtained by hydrolysis of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) in ethanol medium

You can take a look at the attached article. According to this article, Si nano-particles can be synthesized by various routes including purely physical processes such as pulsed laser ablation, heating degradation and ball milling, chemical synthesis and the widely used electrochemical etching strategy. In my opinion, the ball mill of silicon under an inert atmosphere seems simple. But as you know, the existence of impurity on the mentioned method is high. I will talk with you about this matter, in your telegram. ;)
