What is an acceptable sampling rate for measuring skin conductance? Research seems to use various rates, from 32Hz to 1000Hz. Is there a minimum rate advised? I have a device that measures at 4Hz and I'm not sure if this is considered very low?
GSR data could be obtained with an arbitrary sampling rates. Also 2000 Hz could be used. But also low sampling rates could be enough.
In fact, many devices tent to suggest a sampling rates from 1 to 10 Hz, but keeping in mind that it could be necessary a higher sampling rates if the same device will have to collect GSR and other physiological parameters, i.e heart rate.
