I understand the Schmidt number is the viscosity over the diffusivity, but I am not sure what a physically accurate value would be.  I am doing a computer model of the flow of a hot (750 K) helium jet into room temperature (300 K) air.  I have found significant differences by varying the value by as little as 0.2, so wonder what a good estimate would be.
