Yes I definitely agree DrOlalere, the list would most likely be endless. Looking forward to seeing the thoughts of as many researchers/scholars.
Some countries will cope with the situation soon with their strategic move and strong economic background supported by other development sectors. On the other hand, some countries, mostly from developing ground might go through a great crisis, even famine, conditioned to Corona outbreak in their locality.
While globally every country will support each other at their best but, the supply chain will be disrupted, reaching government support to the root producer level is another challenge for developing nations.
For the businessman, this situation is going to be a reason for booming their earning if they can ensure the supply. For them, it is positive while to consumers, the Corona outbreak could be a curse.
Charles, countries with stronger economies that can better deal with the shocks to the food supply chain systems might fare better than those with weaker economies in a similar calamity. Likewise, the extent of the economic scarring on respective economies and countries as a result of COVID-19 may positively and/or negatively hinder food recovery and associated plans post coronavirus pandemic. Interesting times ahead...
