Recently, I transplanted stem cuttings of Plum trees in my farmland. Just two month after the transplant, I snapped two beautiful birds resting on the cuttings. I also noticed eggs laid by an insect. This made me to think many of the ecosystem services offered by our trees in maintaining gene pool, biodiversity etc. What came to my mind is that what happens if we kept on cutting tesw trees without replanting?
plants are the primary producers and giving oxygen to us
if no plants, living things becoming end in our planet
I am more interested to hear the: "purpose for this question"?

@Mehri Takhvar, the idea is to further sensitise on why we need the trees on our land. Climate change mitigation as of today remains the best option as well other ecosytem services from the trees are unquantifiable.
