If you don’t have glutamine for wheat callus induction, you can substitute with:

Casein hydrolysate (500–1000 mg/L) – rich in amino acids
L-asparagine (20–100 mg/L) – nitrogen source
L-glutamic acid – similar to glutamine
Slightly adjust NH₄⁺/NO₃⁻ levels in the medium
