Dear Colleagues,
I'm workimg on solution of static doubly periodic linear elasticilty problem for an array of cracks in 3D. Periodic cell is a cube containing a single crack. In order to avoid finite size effects, we need to apply periodic boundary conditions in two space directions. We are interested in finite element solution of this problem.
Could you please recommend me any Finite Element software, where periodic boundary conditions are implemented for 3D linear elasticity problems?

Hi Vitaly! COMSOl Multiphysics is the best choice. You can also take Abaqus using scripting and *Equations.
Dear Vitaly, JCMsuite is a multi-physics FEM solver specialized on solving Maxwell's equations. It can also solve 3D linear elasticity problems with periodic BCs.

I think that you can use Abaqus Cae. If you want i can share my works in Abaqus with you as example. Maybe you can use Open FOAM, but FOAM uses FVE
Dear Nelson, thank you very much for your answer. We have tried ABAQUS. Unfortunately periodic BCs are not implemented there. One needs to write some scripts to solve periodic problems.
