We use dental composite material to fill tooth caries. They are hardened by a blue light We know its wavelength nearby 400 nm. However what is exact wavelength ?

.It is an example*) of the wavelength distrubution of an LED light source of a curing tip. Here you see that there is no sharp optical line but a quite broad distribution. So an 'exact wavelength' number, as you asked for, cannot be given.

Camphorquinone, the most common photoinitiator, has an absorbance range between 400 and 500 nm wavelength, with a maximum at 468 nm
I can only confirm that the best results are achieved at a wavelength of approx. 460 nm.
