What else can we study in WSSV-infected shrimps that doesn't involve its molecular make up?

We're doing a research on the effects of WSSV on shrimps in the Philippines. Aside from morphological and clinical changes, what else can we study that doesn't involve studying its molecular make up?

Bacterial interaction with WSSV infection previous clinical signs, during the acute phase and during the time after outbreak, is an interesting field of research. There are unpublished studies that show an important relationship between "bacteremia" (bacterial load in hemolymph) and WSSV infection. It could be complemented with immune profiles measured in each part of the 3 phase assessment.
