I am working on Bi2Fe4O9 sample which shows some planes getting enhanced after sintering. The specific planes are (001),(002),(140). Can anyone suggest what it is due to?
Sample lattices are growing at those planes preferably, If you heat any sample particle size and crystalinity will increase resulting decrease in FWHM. Also, see a,b respoces of Gerhard.
While sintering, we will give lot of time and energy to the system to grow in all the direction (X,Y,Z) so the specific planes such as (001),(002),(140) may grew more. or due to preferred orientation.
