We study the iron nitride Fe7N3 under pressure. For two structures, (which we call Amm2 and beta) phonon dispersion curves inevitably contain small (barely visible on the figures) negative frequencies around gamma point with the characteristic wing-like form of dispersion curves (attached figures).

Whether these negative frequencies mean dynamical instability?
