The gravity study was commenced in a section of totally granitic area based on geological map. The granitic batholith consist mainly of S-typed porphyritic granite. Small dykes of pegmatites also appear at certain locations. The purpose of the gravity study is to delineate structural features of the poorly outcropping batholith that related to tin mineralization, as its B horizon (weathered in situ layers of granite) has up to 200,000 ppm tin content. Does mineralization related feature (like greisens or cupolas) could be seen in the gravity anomaly? Or perhaps multiple intrusion?
