What does the presence of a horizontal bearing in the power spectra of a turbidity signal (1 D) mean? Please note that the duration of the bearing is 4 to 5 minutes (T=1/f) and knowing that the measurement time step is 1 or 2 min instantaneously. Is this bearing due to: sampling (Nyquist–Shannon theorem)? Quantification? Noise?

If your signal was obtained by direct reading (I think not), is a simple problem, but it was obtained by proxies have two problems, validation and correlation of the signal itself.
