Yes I do indeed think that remote shopping will grow, on the local level we're extremely rural and online shopping have been an alternative for a long time - and before that we used mail order.
Back then people tended to use only a few reliable corporations, as they offered both a guarantee and possible of return. As the online shopping have grown, we see a similar development that the more successful ones offer similar guarantées. I got a personal experience in this as we did run out of face masks here very early on. And I ordered from China, only a fraction of the order arrived - even so I got a full refund. I am fully happy with that solution from that online shopping site and therefore will use them again.
Another order for facemasks did however not arrive at all - it appear to be the most common scam currently, which is quite sad to see.

Given what we are currently hearing that the Coronavirus may be around for sometime and given the boom in online activities, it is probable that such a development will continue to favour businesses that have invested in it. Online business (same as online education) is more accommodating as well as time and cost saving for the stakeholders. Therefore, it is very likely to progress in the future including after the Covid-19 pandemic. This will allow everyone to be capable of performing more activities than ever before without being obliged to commute (travel time is sometimes excessively long and expensive).
Due to the length of the lockdown periods and continued social distancing rules, consumer habits are changing making online shopping of previously offline categories like grocery a routine. At the same time, retailers are significantly improving their online services making it more convenient to use them. This transformation will continue after the immediate crisis - possibly at reduced growth rates but still growing.

The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the shift from physical to e-commerce and is happening at a faster pace than expected. The rate of consumers who make 50% or more of all their purchases online has drastically increased in the three largest e-commerce markets in Europe: France, Germany and Great Britain.
6 out of 10 consumers say they will continue to shop online when the health crisis ends.
This study, carried out by Kantar and commissioned by Detail Online, an audit company specializing in e-commerce, aims to analyze the purchasing behavior of consumers during this period and to verify whether the use of e-commerce -commerce will be sustainable. The survey was conducted between March 26 and 30, 2020 on a panel of 3,162 people aged 16 to 64 living in France, Germany and Great Britain.
The Kantar Covid-19 barometer published in March 2020 thus indicates that 20% of consumers say they rarely visit physical stores, 9% specify that they do more online shopping than before, and 32% of respondents say 'expect an increase in their online purchases.
New study conducted and presented by Kantar and Detail Online today reveals that the rate of consumers who usually make more than half of their purchases online has increased between 25% and 80% depending on the country since the start of the pandemic.
Around 80% of those surveyed say they will continue to make purchases after Covid-19. So I can say that online shopping is going to accelerate after this Covid-19 pandemic.

I think it will continue to grow. It may take a slight dip due to people wanting to 'physically' go out more due to being confined for so long. However, i think the efficiency, safety and convenience of online business will grow on people. Remember though, online business is highly dependent on Technology infrastructure and understanding of such. Therefore, you will experience a growth in geographical areas that have these is place, versus those that don't (with or without the pandemic).

I think it will maintain the same pattern as there is a lot that was not dealing with this type of trade and now it has proven its quality ... and therefore we will continue to deal with it.
I think it will continue to grow in the same way until there is a fully reliable and safer means to deal with the ongoing pandemic but afterwards there can somewhat decrease in the growth rate due to people's desire to physically visit a shopping complex/place.

Buying is the result of many factors. In the modern age, buying behavior analysts tell us that habit is also one of the factors on which it depends. If we go as per that idea, then we can expect online buying to go up even when the pandemic ends.
Then there is another angle also. When there is stress in the buyer's mind, the buyer prefers to go to shopping malls and markets. This is because the buyer looks at visiting shopping malls and markets as an experience, as an opportunity to relax. So if we go as per that idea, then there will be all sorts of stress even after the pandemic and so buyers may be expected to go to shopping malls and markets for buying purposes in order to release that stress.
In this question you have talked about developing countries. In developing countries when it comes to online buying, only the upper classes can have the 'luxury' to get indulged into it. So to a huge extent, online buying in such countries is a status symbol. Hence, you may expect online buying to go up in such countries even after this pandemic. Also the upper classes may have less stress. Moreover, health and hygiene maintenance systems are not very developed in developing countries. So the upper classes who most of the time visit shopping malls and markets in developing countries, may not prefer to come out that often even after this pandemic is over.
Finally, to conclude, all factors are pointing to a growing curve of online businesses, particularly in developing countries, after the pandemic.

I think online businesses will not suffer after pandemic, more like they might slow down in some industries. However, consumers have become more comfortable with online services during COVID-19 and online business will continue to grow after pandemic. COVID-19 only increased the demand for online businesses.
Online businesses were quite common long before the pandemic, now it is just extra boost. Of course they will continue their development even after the pandemic.
It will flourish in the post-pandemic era too, it has become a way of life now.
Most economies are already recovering from the 2020 economic recession (spring at the beginning of the summer of 2021). However, in individual countries there may be significant differences in this matter, which is determined by many factors, including primarily the state of macroeconomic indicators of the country's economic development that occurred before the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic, and then how and what has changed in the economy during a pandemic, how effectively certain anti-crisis instruments of public aid were applied, and the applied pro-development programs of the socio-economic policy, including fiscal, budgetary, social, sectoral policies and also a soft monetary policy. I believe that Covid-19 has given way to new opportunities for business and entrepreneurship, but after Covid19 they will be even more so in some Sectors compared to others and it is because the “consumption habits” of all consumers have changed the Social Sectors, for having been subjected to a regime of confinement or restrictions due to the State of Alarm that we all know. After the Covid-19, the online supply will be improved and better coordinated, which has been accentuated after the confinement and with more trackers and suppliers. For this reason, platforms will be created that will further improve specialized technology, such as Robotics, connecting suppliers-consumers and conveying everything with different supply and distribution chains.
The most important thing is that the environmental Impact Will be reduced and priority will be given to everything that is "sustainable" and necessary for Social Well-being.
But to give a Specialty to all these sectors, Companies related to Multimedia content will emerge, tending to create Communication Tools with Videoconferences, and teleworking will still allow classes to be taught even after Covid-19. The Online Courses will continue and other virtual Platforms or Campus will continue to be created with a continuous solution, because students will continue to need Online monitoring and therefore Companies with specialized Teaching Personnel for each Sector will emerge.

I believe that it will grow more because now almost all the businesses have both physical and online presence. and consumers are more used to online shopping due to the promotions and product variety while if you visit a showroom, you have limited options. secondly, I have a live example, I live in Dubai knowns as a shopping hub, people here never preferred buying online before Covid-19 but now that pattern is shifted more towards online here in UAE. I am currently planning to do a study on this pattern, if anyone here is interested, we can conduct research on this topic.
