Is it possible to compare the transformation of the traditional teachers to the digital reality with immigration? Is this transformation a real immigration? What do you think?
I think no. Migrations are often due to economic or political reasons (or both).
Telematics teaching has existed since before the computer network that we know as "Internet" was implemented. On the other hand, it is just a temporary "migration": when normality returns, teaching will be face-to-face again (except in the so-called "distance universities" or in centers that have always educated on "distance"). Perhaps in some (few) spaces, where it is feasible, telematic teaching will be consolidated, but it will not be something general by far. Nothing can replace face-to-face teaching.
I don't see that there is any possible analogy with the migration of people.
