For example: A scientist who, by his discoveries and technological innovations, patents, manufactures and sells them. All this gives you money to continue investigating. You can also benefit new researchers with your money and create a special fund for the manufacture of body parts (prosthetics) for the disabled and give them away.

The richest person is the person who most benefits and serves humanity at large.

Whether you're monetarily rich or scientifically rich, what you do with your science or money will determine what people say about you when you are gone. As for me both are mutually exclusive.

Money and science are important. To obtain good education for our child, we need a lot of money, especially for the bilingual schools in our city. Our country is still development country..... The scholarship is very limitted. But in the other hand, we need a lot of human resources to build our country. So we need a lot of money. Money is important to obtain good education (science) for our young generation. Until now we are still behind our neighbour ASEAN countries in many aspects. So our president try very hard with their great effort how to not too left from the others (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, etc).

I think that humans benefit from people rich in science (knowledge). Just because most of it is freely disseminated, and can bring benefits to everybody.

I do not think that concentration of wealth is socially beneficial. While there are examples of altruism among rich people, in most of the cases this can have negative impact. Even if we do not consider rich that sponsor terrorism or destabilize countries. The question is where this richness comes from. It is OK if inventor of some technology becomes rich, but in many cases the origin of money for those who became rich in short period is not honest.

I think in the developing countries the money is more important than the Science. While, in the advanced countries, the Science and Money together, but Sciences may comes before the money.

According to me, must need money for life, if your stomach is empty then brain only think how to fill it, instead of of thinking about other science, family, faith... so money first to live life, others are secondaries
