I'm interesting in early history of filed emission, especially in field emission science methodology. Does anyone have appropriate materials?
Sergei
There is a nice article by Richard Forbes in Journal of Applied Physics 105, 114313 (2009) which discusses somewhat the pre-1928 period of field emission study. Hopefully this helps tracking further references.
