First after detecting project problem , you shall to draw SIPOC with criticality chain (critical to quality ; critical to supply , critical to process , critical to input , critical to output) & Methods of voice of customers to know target limits you need to reach incomparable with the actual limits you have (from measure phase) (better if you can try to translate the problems to time) . This is important to know sigma level & capability analysis.
Also you have to draw layout and apply one of lean tools (improve phase directly) if you have limited time but in this case you will have no root cause (from analyze phase).
Try to consult in your country kaizen team that must know lean six sigma method & they shall be multi-skilled.
So you have 2 options according to time
1- lean six sigma method
2- lean method by kaizen team
As there are many problem solving techniques.
