I simulated for Miranda reactor the confinement of the >2.2MeV generated alpha particles, but unfortunately, only about 12-15% are confined. As long as the energy gain is only 12x times it would help to increase the fusions and also the alpha particle confinement.
I have simulated the need of at least 12.5-25 teslas that could be achievable but for less than 3 milliseconds. Coils must not be exposed to oxygen to avoid burning them.
What are the best methods?
The chamber has 4 parallel coils in a tokamak-like confinement chamber and some perpendicular ones.
