I recently did FRAP and FLIP experiments in a different lab.

In FRAP:

I treated HuH7 cells with different inhibitors. The import seemed not influenced, but of one inhibitor the resulting fluorescence curve seems to be shifted downwards. The bleaching was more effective, but I cannot explain myself why this could happen.

In FLIP:

I treated the cells as above. Here the initial export rate didn't change, however the remaining nuclear fluorescence after 80s bleach did greatly vary between the samples.

Can one say that the export is still influenced? How can I argue this?
