What could be the problem of tz-mbl assay?

I am doing Tz-mbl assay(beta-galactosidase assay) for evaluating anti-viral activity for hiv infection. When I am doing with p24 assay is coming good but when I am doing it in tz-mbl assay I am not getting any results. What could be the problem? All chemical I am using are newly brought.
