Accumulating research shows that NF-kB is a critical transcription factor in many diseases such as tumors, RA, psoriasis, etc. It could control expression level of cytokine including IL-6, IL-8. In some study of treatment of autoimmune disease, therapeutic agents could down-regulate the mRNA and protein level of NF-kB, thus blocking the process of disease. NF-kB signaling is a complex network which contains a variety of signal proteins, I wonder which signal protein could control the transcriptional level of NF-kB?
